Thomas Springer

Age 50, of Smyrna, formerly of Newark, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in the presence of his loving family.

Tom worked at Chrysler. He enjoyed fishing and watching the Phillies.

Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 15 years, Roseann Springer in 2004 and his father, Thomas J. Springer Sr. Tom is survived by his son, Thomas J. Springer III; his mother and step dad, Dorothy and Rich Iacono, his sisters and brothers, Dana DeBellis, Jeff Springer and his wife Kathy, Donna Springer, Ann Marie Deysher and her husband Ron; his stepsister, Maureen McKee; his stepbrothers, Richard J. Iacono and his wife Pam and Jeffrey Iacono; and his dog, Buck.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6:30 pm on Sunday, July 28 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport. Funeral Services will be 11 am on Monday, July 29 at the chapel at Gracelawn Memorial Park, N. DuPont PKWY, New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10 am.
