Timothy "Timmy" A. Deleski, age 64, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, January 29, 2024.
Timmy graduated from Brandywine High School in 1977 and started working at Sun Shipping. He worked for many years at Oxy Chemical and later for BASF, formerly Ciba.
Timmy was a member of Pulaski Legion, Police and Fire Rod and Gun Club and the Terrace Athletic Club, where he was a bartender.
Timmy enjoyed riding his motorcycles and he was a life long Philadelphia sports fan.
Timmy is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ethel, and his brother, Barry.
Survivors include his dog, Barney; best friend, Charlie Mundy; and a host of cousins and other family and friends.
Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will be at a later date.
