Tracey Lea Poarch McCaw, 46 of Abington, Maryland passed away Tuesday, April 12th, 2022 following a brief illness.
Born in Wilmington, Delaware April 26th, 1975 to Nancy J. (Spence) Poarch of Seaford, Delaware and the late Daniel M. Poarch Sr.
Tracey loved and enjoyed her career as LPN for over 28 years. She was adored by her patients as much as she loved & adored them. Her long career was spent working with the elderly and home care patients. Tracey was currently employed by Visiting Angels Home Health Care in Bel Air, Maryland.
Tracey was instrumental in creating a non profit organization “Deep Roots, Inc.” that originally focused on mentoring, day trips and events for children. It has continued to grow over the last decade.
She loved spending time with her boys and family. She enjoyed music, the beach and just being outside in nature.
Tracey is survived by her sons: James McCaw and Luke McCaw of Rising Sun, MD. Sisters and Brothers: Michele Hill-Miller of Seaford, DE Wendy Poarch of Elkton, MD, Brandy Dingess of Dover, DE, David Dingess Jr. of Dover, DE , Daniel Poarch of Middletown, DE. Tracey was loved by 12 nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her Step Father: David L. Dingess Sr. Grandparents Vaughn (Tracy) Spence and Bertha (Nanny) Spence, Arvis Poarch and Helen Poarch.
Tracey will be dearly missed by those who loved her and the many lives she touched.
There will be a Celebration of Life on May 21, 2022 at 4pm at 855 Blackbird Greenspring Road Smyrna, DE 19977.
