NEWARK - Wesley Maltman Jr life-long Delaware resident, passed away peacefully August 24, 2022 surrounded by family.
Survived by wife, Helene Maltman; children, Denise Schmidt, Elaine Maltman, Karen Fisher, Wesley Maltman III, many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by sister, Drue Port; mother, Betty; father, Wes Sr. Born in Wilmington October 26, 1932, graduated from Al Dupont HS and attended PA Academy of Fine Arts.
Served in the DE Army National Guard band. He taught private art, drum lessons and was graphic artist for Hercules Inc 34 years. He enjoyed memberships at Hercules Country Club, Cavaliers Country Club, an avid golfer well into his 80’s.
A private memorial will be held at the family residence.
