William F. Hillard, Jr, age 81, of Claymont, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021.
Bill was an Army and Airforce Veteran. He enjoyed walking at Rockwood Park and traveling.
Bill was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara and Wilma and his brother, Larry Hillard.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Geraldine and his siblings; Dean, Donald and Hazel.
Funeral Services will be at 12:30 pm on Monday, April 26 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 12 noon. Burial with military honors will follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Masks and distancing will be required along with a capacity limit in the funeral home and the cemetery chapel.
