William Baez, age 59, of Newport, DE, formerly of Silver Springs, Maryland, passed away on Saturday May 21, 2022.
William attended Holy Angels Catholic Church and St. Catherine of Siena Parish. He enjoyed playing and watching baseball, especially the Baltimore Orioles. He also enjoyed supporting his favorite football team, the Baltimore Ravens. William loved music and especially like classic rock and salsa.
William is preceded in death by his brother Cesar and sister Ingrid.
William is survived by his wife of 28 years Ana; sons Cristian Baez; daughter Jennifer Gabriela Baez; mother Otilia Baez Rodriguez; brothers Roberto Baez and Arturo Baez; sisters Yvelice Baez, Maria Baez, and Raisa Rodriguez Baez; and brother Rafael “Felo” Rodriguez.
A mass with Christian burial will be held on Friday June 3, 2022 at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 82 Possum Park Rd. Newark, De 19711. Services will begin at 11am with visitation starting at 9:30am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery, 6001 Kirkwood Highway Wilmington, DE 19808.
