William Jesse Hammons, age 91, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023.
Billy was a Marine Corps Veteran who served during the Korean War. After his time in the service he owned his own HVAC company for over 70 years.
Billy was an AA supporter who helped a lot of people over the years. He loved going on walks, exploring Virginia, and visiting Harpers Ferry, West Virginia. He liked watching western movies, weight lifting and when he was younger he enjoyed karate.
Billy is preceded in death by his dad, Jesse Hammons.
Survivors include his sons, Rasan and Glen, and other extended family members

Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 2465 Chesapeake City Road Bear, DE 19701.
