Bill, age 81, died on Wednesday April 22, 2015. Bill was a professional Limousine driver for several years and previously he had a TV and Radio repair business for about 10 years in the 1970's. He was a 1951 graduate of H. Fletcher Brown Vocational School. Bill volunteered for several years fundraising for the Wilmington Blue Rocks. He will be remembered for how he helped people in various ways.
Bill is survived by his wife of 60 years, May A. Hindsley; his daughters, Lesley A. Sawyer (Tim), Laura A. Marino (Frank) and Lisabeth A. Wright (Chris); his grandchildren, Scott, Shawn, Justin, Michael, Alex and Matthew; his 3 great grandchildren and his dog Curly.
Funeral services will be 11am on Saturday May 2 at St. James Episcopal Church Millcreek, 2106 St. James Church Rd. Wilmington, DE 19808 where visitation will begin at 10am. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions in Bill's memory to Season's Hospice, 220 Continental Dr Suite 101, Newark, DE 19713.
