Age 52, of Newport, departed suddenly on Sunday, April 10, 2011.
Bill who was a 1976 graduate of Conrad High School was employed at the Department of Corrections. Previously he served in active duty in the Army including the first Gulf War. Bill was a very active member of Peniel United Methodist Church where he had been Scoutmaster and a member of the church bowling league. He enjoyed gardening, hiking, camping and cooking.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, William B. Joseph, Jr. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Kathleen E. Joseph; his son, Victor Joseph; his mother Fran Joseph; and his sister, Ellen Wolf.
Funeral services will be 12 Noon on Saturday, April 16th at Peniel UMC where visitation will begin at 11 AM. Burial will be 11 AM on Monday, April 18th in the Chapel at the Delaware Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Bear, DE.
The family suggests contributions in Bill's memory to Peniel UMC, 115 E. Market St., Newport, DE 19804.
