Age 68, of Wilmington, DE, formerly of Coatesville, PA, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2013.
William was a Grinder at Lukins Steel in Costesville where he retired in 2002 after 33 years of service. He enjoyed bingo, watching TV and movies, driving his car and visiting Delaware Park.
William was preceded in death by his parents, George and Grace and his brother, Jerry. Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Betty; his daughters, Jen Shoemaker and Tina Leonard and her husband, Gerald Bernard Brown, Sr.; his brothers, Louie, Charlie, Bob, Wally and Georgie; and his grandson, Gerald Bernard Brown, Jr.
Funeral Services will be 1pm on Tuesday, April 16 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport, DE, where visitation will begin at 12:30pm. Burial will be private.
