William Perez Sr., age 84, of Brooklyn, NY, formerly of Puerto Rico, went to be with his wife and son on Friday, February 28, 2025 in Newark, DE.
William worked in the Maintenance Department at Fairfield Towers, in Brooklyn, NY for over 20 years before he retired.
William like to watch westerns, especially Bonanza, and he enjoyed the farm life in Puerto Rico.
William is preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Aida Colon-Padua, who passed in 2020; and his son, William Perez Jr., who passed in 2023.
Survivors include his children, Alfredo Perez, Evelyn Booker (Willie) and Travis Perez (Amanda); sister, Rosie Perez; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 7, 2025, at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 East Justis Street Newport, DE 19804, where visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial will be private.
