William Tulowitzki

d. November 30, 2009

Age 76, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 30, 2009, at Heartland Hospice House after a short illness.
Bill was known by all to be a man of his word and would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need, especially his 4 children and grandchildren. He was married to his loving wife, Marie, for 57 years, celebrated on Nov. 19th. Where one was the other was never far behind; they were always inseparable. Until the end of his life on earth he could light up the room with his ornery smile. His family will never forget his love of life and his love for the Philadelphia Eagles. In his leisure time he loved to hunt & fish with his twin sons. He loved his family the most and never wanted them to leave when they visited. He loved spaghetti westerns and Clint Eastwood movies.
Bill was a truck driver for Transcom Trucking for 38 years retiring at age 55. He enjoyed going to the slots and racetrack. He loved to build things and help others in need. Bill will be remembered as a caring and devoted husband, father and grandpop. The family asks that anyone who would like to celebrate Bill's life at his funeral service, to honor him by wearing their Eagles jerseys or just dress casually. He was a no frills person to most people having the pleasure to know him.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother Alfred Tulowitzki, his brother John Tulowitzki; 2 sisters, Dorothy Downing and Gladys LaVelle; both of his parents, William and Concetta (DiSalvatore) Tulowitzki and beloved dog Sammy.
He is survived by the love of his life, Marie Tulowitzki of Bear, DE; 2 devoted daughters, Julie Brady-Tulowitzki and Connie Curtis-Tulowitzki and daughter-in-law Maryellen Vendetti, all of Bear, DE; twin sons, William A. Tulowitzki, III and James Alan Tulowitzki, both of New Castle, DE; twin sisters, Barbara Godfrey (Jerry) of Kennett Square, PA and Beatrice Chrisman(Ted) and Tike of California; beloved grandchildren, Tracy Greenough and Ryan J. Rossell; great grandchildren, Vincenzo and Luciano Greenough and Kurtis Ryan Rossell; great great granddaughter, Maleeah Greenough and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be 11am, Saturday, December 5th at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, N. Dupont Hwy., New Castle, where visitation will begin at 10am. Graveside services will follow in the adjoining memorial park.
The family suggests donations in Bill's memory to the Heartland Hospice House, 5661 Ochletree Lane, Wilmington, DE 19808.
