William Wallace

Bill passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2015. He retired from the Insulators Local 42 with approximately 30 yrs. of service. Bill played baseball at Henry C. Conrad HS and later played softball and football in the NCC Rec. leagues. He also was an avid golfer, enjoyed watching the Phillies and Eagles, playing dominoes, and spending time with his family and many friends. After retiring to Ft. Myers, FL, he loved playing golf at Heritage Palms and socializing at the Tiki bar.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Lillian Wallace and his brother, Buck Wallace. Survivors include his daughters, Debra Wallace (Joan) and Dee Roberge (Mike); his son, Billy Wallace, II (Dawn); 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Joan Capano (Lou); brother, Denny Wallace (Joan); sister-in-law, Charlotte Wallace and a host of extended family and friends.

Bill's family request those attending his services to wear golf or other casual attire. The visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, September 29 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St., Newport where a second visitation will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, September 30 followed by the funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will be at Silverbrook Cemetery.
