Wilma Cruz Gonzalez

Wilma “Beba” Leonor Cruz Gonzalez, age 30, of New Castle, DE formerly of Carolina, Puerto Rico transitioned on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.

Beba was a 2012 graduate of AI High School and worked as a Hair Stylist for 10 years. She was evolving in her spiritual belief and loved outdoors. Beba loved to dance and listen to music. She was interested in photography and video production. Her mother’s phrase describes her best, “Sonadoa” “She was a dreamer”.

She is survived by her children, Aliany Fernandez (2008), Leonarys Santiago (2011) and Emilio Torres (2017); mother, Altagracia E. Gonzalez; father, David Cruz-Sosa; siblings, Anibal Gonzalez and Danara P. Cruz-Gonzalez and nephews and nieces, Jandiel Omar Gonzalez, Leonidas Anibal Gonzalez, Josiah Alexandar Gonzalez, Ana Elizabeth Gonazalez, Gabriel Garcia and Naria Garcia.

Funeral Services will be at 11 am on Wednesday, September 4 at NICHOLS-GILMORE FUNERAL HOME, 212 E. Justis St. Newport, DE 19804 where visitation will begin at 10 am. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery.
