Yvonne A. Hicks, age 69, of Wilmington, Delaware passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, February 9, 2022.
Yvonne attended Wilmington High School.
As a young woman, Yvonne loved spending time with her parents, sister, aunts, uncles and cousins at the beach and the mountains.
Yvonne then married and had 2 children of her own. She was a loving wife and a very warm, compassionate, fun, selfless mother. She’d do anything for her children.
Yvonne was an angel here on Earth with tons of empathy. She’d help anyone in need.
She loved all types of music and enjoyed dancing, watching her shows on tv and spending time with family, especially her only grandchild.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Hicks of 33 years, father, Louis G. Zurman and mother, Mary M. Zurman.
Survivors include her children, Renee M. Hicks, James C. Hicks, sister, Lynn G. Zurman and grandson, Ryan J. Harper.
