Zamiyah Y. “Maya” Elivo, age 10, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
Maya was entering the 5th grade at Pleasantville Elementary School. She enjoyed coloring, playing outside with her friends and riding her bike. Maya loved going to Sunday school at Iglesia Renacer in Chester, PA. She loved being a big sister as the oldest child. Maya was very affectionate and loved giving hugs and kisses. She enjoyed playing instruments especially the drums.
Maya was preceded in death by her mother, Karisma Elvio.
She is survived by her father, Darryl Stevens; sisters, Zariah, Zakiyah, Zaniyah and Zalayna; grandparents, Yolanda Urena (Jose) and Ronald Carmichael; aunt, Dominique Benton (Gerard); uncle, Isaiah Gray and great grandmother, Maria Elibo.
Funeral Services will be on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 10 am at Greenbank Church of Christ, 511 Greenbank Rd, Wilmington, DE 19808 where visitation will begin at 9:30 am. Burial will follow at Silverbrook Cemetery.
