Obituary for Irene B Jackson-Hunter

Irene B Jackson-Hunter
Irene Jackson-Hunter

Sunrise- November 30, 1947

Sunset- June 16, 2017.

Irene Jackson-Hunter was born to Moses and Agnes Jackson. She was one of 13 children and was the 4th child. Irene is survived by her two daughters, Dawn and Tiffany; 4 grandchildren, Meshia, Cynthia, Miyah, and Malachi; one great grandchild, Kyla; two brothers, Douglas and Dwight; and four sisters, Wendy, Thelma, Selma, and Penny.

Irene was always a hard worker, there was no job that she wouldn’t do to make sure her family had. She was an outstanding independent person. She was always a giver, there was never a time when a person was in need that she never gave. Everyone loved her personality and sense of humor. Mom has always showed her unconditional love no matter who you were. Even though she was fighting a battle of her own, unless she told you, you would never have known. Through it all, she never complained or asked, “Why me?” She always stayed prayerful and kept the faith until she took that last breath. She still worried about her children and grandchildren and how they would feel, but just like her we are strong. Irene has always been spiritual, and as a young child she was a dreamer. She has always told us to keep the faith no matter how hard things get, you must have faith. She will be greatly missed by many both close and far. As long as you have her in your heart she will always be with you. Mommy, until we meet again. We will always love you, S.I.P
