Obituary for Michael F Newcomb Sr.
Michael F. Newcomb, Sr., age 54, of Wilmington, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2017.
Mike was a retired master plumber and handyman. During his free time he liked to spend time with his family, throw horseshoes, and go fishing. Mike was always known to crack a joke and spread laughter to all of those around him. He took great pride and joy in his children and grandsons, they were his light.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, Walter Newcomb; brother, Thomas Newcomb; and friend and brother-in-law, Sean Collins.
Survivors include his children, Hannah Newcomb, who was his caregiver, Rona Newcomb (Ryan Rozenko), and Christy Newcomb (Mike Skipski) and Michael F. Newcomb, Jr.; mother, Dolores Newcomb; grandchildren, Keenen, Cole Skipski and Jace Rozenko; lifelong friend and companion, Beth Newcomb; siblings, Wally Newcomb (Nancy), Collen King (Mike), Ricky Newcomb, Sr., John Newcomb, Rene Yates and Barbara Witt (Dave) and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held from 11 am to 1 pm on Monday, October 16 at The Greenbank Mill, 500 Greenbank Road, Wilmington, DE 19808
