Dorothy Reynolds Harman “Mom-Mom”
Age 86- Newark

Mom-Mom passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, July 5, 2018 to join her loving husband, Robert V. Harman “Pop-Pop” and her infant son, Stephan Robert Harman.

Mom-Mom or Aunt Dot to some cherished ANY time she spent with her family but especially at the beach and for Christmastime traditions. She also enjoyed doing her daily cryptic byword, watching her soap operas and reading her James Patterson Women’s Murder Club books.

Mom-Mom was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey H. Reynolds and Claire Martin Reynolds, her brother, Colonel Robert M. Reynolds and wife, Gail Lecher Reynolds. Survivors include daughters, Debbie Gerber, Diane Johnston (James) and Dawn Ford (Andrew); grandchildren, Stacy Wenner (Michael), Michael Simpers (Ashley), Jennifer Johnston, David Gerber, Ashley Ford (Tyler) and Brittany Ford; great-grandchildren, Tyler Noethiger, Alexis and Delaney Wenner, MacKenzie, Adam and Kylie Simpers; sister, Lois Huggins (Joseph); many nieces and nephews and those who were family in her heart.

A celebration of her life will be held Friday, July 13, 2018 at 10 am at the First Presbyterian Church of Newark, 292 W Main Street, Newark, DE where visitation will begin at 9 am. Burial will be at Edgewood Memorial Park, 325 Baltimore Pike, Glen Mills, PA.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Jamil Khatri and his nurse Tami and the Delaware Hospice for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the First Presbyterian Church of Newark, Delaware or the Delaware Hospice.
