David Arthur Carrier, age 67, of Elkton, Maryland formerly of Vermont, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 in Newark, Delaware.
David was the head of Human Resources for a company in Vermont for many years. He also worked at Union Hospital in Elkton for 10 years. David was an amazing trumpet player and loved country music. He enjoyed photography and sharing his knowledge of career building with others.
David was preceded in death by his sister, Dawn Carrier; and her sisters, Donald Carrier and Eileen (Gatsie) Gates.
Survivors include his daughters, Miranda Carrier and Sumer Lejeunesse; his step-son, Adam Homes; his sister, Sharon Carrier (Betty); his grandson, Korbin Carrier; and his nieces, Megan Carrier and Terrilyn Moore; his nephew, Eric Hayes; his aunts, Pat Wilson and Penny Hawkins-Farrara and the mother of his daughter, Miranda, who he always spoke fondly of, Kathy Carrier.
Services and Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in David’s memory can be made to Heartland Hospice, 5661 Ocheltree Ln, Wilmington, DE 19808.
